Promoting and supporting mental health is an important component to achieving success personally and academically. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 1 in 5 adults experience mental illness in the United States, and half of all chronic mental illness begins by the age of 14. Working together, we can support the mental health needs of students.
Harvest Best Academy Mental Health Services promote student’s academic, emotional, and social success by proving the following support services:
Direct mental health support to students
Crisis support in conjunction with support services staff
Professional development in mental health
Modeling of evidence-based mental health interventions
Connection to mental health resources
